Where has the time gone?? Our smiley little baby is 9 months old!! I absolutely love this stage!! He plays, interacts, laughs, crawls and is FAST! His personality is starting to form and I could just squeeze those cheeks everyday! :)
At his 9 month check-up he weighed in at 19.14lbs and is 29inches long. Since he only gained about a pound since his 6 month appointment I decided it was time to quit nursing. We tried hanging on by just feeding at morning and night but Pierce-y also decided to start biting. So between the two issues I decided it was time. It was very bittersweet. I was very sad to stop nursing, I wanted to last until he turned one, but I was also so anxious every time he latched because those teeth of his hurt!! Once I offered him the bottle in the morning and night he was a happy baby and started sleeping longer too!
Pierce is also a ferocious eater!! That boy will eat pretty much anything you put in front of him except bananas. He loves peas, carrots, potatoes, chicken, turkey dogs, lunch meat, cheese, blueberries, peaches, pears, and the list goes on and on. He now has 5 teeth to help him chew the more difficult foods! Mac n cheese is a must and Cheerios!
He loves to play with his brother but his brother has a little harder time being nice. Although, Parker always has to know what Pierce is doing and where he is...he is just not very gentle. One day they will be best buds, I just know it! One thing Pierce does love is his baths! He even whines when we get him out. As you can see Parker had way more hair at 9 months than Pierce does. Pierce's hair is coming in blond and somewhat curly!!!
We love you little man and can't wait for the next 3 months!!
