Christmas Day 2010

This Christmas was so much fun for us!  Santa came to our house for the first time and Parker had a blast!
 Look what all Santa brought!!
He was overwhelmed at first like "Wow, how did I get all these new toys at once?!"
Then he wanted to put ALL his new toys in his tent and didn't want anyone else in there with him.
His new remote...now we will see if he stops using the real remote! :)
"Look Mom one just like yours"!
 He was a happy baby!
Mom, Dad and Clint came over for our annual breakfast together and presents
GiGi and Gramps with their Grandson
 Parker loving on his GiGi
He got the hang of opening presents pretty quickly
Gramps showing him how his new firetruck worked
Showing off his new shoes...he loved them!
 A new pillow!
Daddy couldn't open them fast enough!

After a morning full of fun we headed over to Nana's house for lunch and more presents for Mr. P.  Overall it was a great Christmas!!  Next year we will have 2 to spoil!  Oh the fun is just beginning!! Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!

Christmas Eve 2010

Christmas Eve is usually spent at the Ferrells house.  Unless its the year we go skiing.  Everyone brings appetizer type foods and we open gifts.  This is the nice spread of food this year!  It was all yummy!

 The Vaccaros
 The Ferrells
All the cousins dress up in matching pj's for their annual group picture.  As you can see Parker is not very cooperative when it comes to pictures!
 and he was done...
 The girls looked cute!
Parker got a Little People wagon full of Lego's.  He wanted all the Lego's out so he could ride!
My husband is 33 and has NEVER owned a bike...until now!  For his stocking present this year Kathy got him his own bike.  He was shocked! Now the joke is over... :)  Now for the rest of the Christmas festivities!

Our 2nd Blessing!

Today I had my second sonogram for baby #2!  For name purposes we will call him/her Baby F!  Baby F was full of energy (could have been the orange juice I drank before hand) and very healthy!  The heartbeat was around 138.  Baby F weighs 1lb and is 10inches long...growing right on schedule.  For those who are wondering we did not find out the sex.  I looked at Matt and said "Do you want to know?" and he smiled and shook his head "No".  Now that think back to my appointment I am glad we waited.  The moment Parker was born is just still so fresh in our minds, and the emotions we felt that day were so indescribable we want to have that moment again with Baby #2.  Baby F was playing with his/her feet and moving his/her hands all over the place...it was so cute! The doctor said I do have a low lying placenta that they will need to check again in a month or so, so we will get to see our little munchkin again before delivery!

We only have about 4 months left after the holidays.  It seems like this pregnancy is FLYING by!  Even though I get so busy every day/week I still stop and think how beyond blessed we are to have Parker and now God has blessed us again with another precious child.  We couldn't be happier!!!  Baby F...Mommy, Daddy and your Big Brother Parker can't wait to meet you!!!

1/2 Way!

I turned 20 weeks today and I am feeling great!  I am starting to feel the baby move a little each day.  I don't have any statistics yet but when I have my appointment on the 20th I will post them.  Here I am at the half way point!  I can't believe it...this time has gone by SOO fast!

Any guesses on what sex the baby is??? Any name suggestions? LOL....we are having a HARD time in this department.

18 months!

Parker turned 18 months on November 22nd!  Since I did a chair picture every month of his first year I decided to post his progress every 6 months thereafter.  We will see how I keep up once the 2nd is here! :)
Parker LOVES: Elmo of course, Nick Jr. (every morning while he drinks his milk), to be outside and run around, his GiGi and Muhney and the time he gets to spend with them every week.  He loves green beans, string cheese, milk, juice, fruit snacks and bananas.  He loves his blankie, cuddle time with Mommy, to wrestle with his Daddy, to run after the dogs and love on them, to make messes, play in the laundry room/pantry and try on all of our shoes, and most of all he LOVES his new room.....and LOVES Goodnight Moon (we read it almost every night!)  Oh I almost missed the cutest thing he loves to do: DANCE!  The boy has some rhythm...gets it from his Mommy! :)

Parker SAYS: Hi, Bye, Mom, Da, Mo (Milk or Elmo), thank you, there it is, No! (all the time no matter what the question is), and mostly babbles on and on all day long.  He can say hot, button (buh), GiGi, Reeses and Rolo.  He can sign "all done" and "please".

He is very good at picking up his toys if you clap for him after each pick up...so it takes awhile :)  He is good at ignoring me or hiding when he doesn't want to do something, such as changing his diaper.

He knows where almost all of his body parts are located and points to them when you ask.  You can ask him "Where is the Baby?" and he points to his tummy.
He is very attached to me and his GiGi right now.  If he remotely thinks we are about to leave he freaks out on us.  Matt and I have learned we have to "spell" things that we don't want him to hear.  One day that won't work so well for us.  He is just at such a fun age right now...
He makes us smile everyday!  We love this little guy to the moon and back!!!!!!!!!

Parker's World...

In his BIG BOY ROOM!  This has been a work in progress since about October.  We decided to paint the office and turn it into what Parker loves right now...Elmo!  We had to keep the door shut most of the time because he would get so excited and wanted to play in his new room any chance he got.
 The beginning....
Matt was so sweet and painted the entire room all by himself.  He knows I hate painting plus with me being preggers it wasn't safe to be around the fumes.
My sweet Mom came over one day to help put up his new border!!
Parker chillin in his new room
This morning, December 5th was the big reveal to Parker when he woke up.  He was SO EXCITED!  The video shows it all!
 He loves his Elmo!
This is the laundry basket I bought yesterday at a craft show...matches perfect!
The final product of Parker's World!  Now let the big boy bed training begin....

Thanksgiving Round Two

Thanksgiving at the Lake
Parker loved playing with his cousin Sloane
 Parker with his cousin Drew
 All the desserts!
Can you tell football was on? LOL

Hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  Now begins the most wonderful time of the year! :)

Thanksgiving Round One

This Thanksgiving was such a relaxing one!  Usually we have to split Thanksgiving day between my family and Matt's family, but not this year!  We had Thanksgiving with my family on Thursday and Thanksgiving with Matt's family on Friday at the lake.  We had a lot of yummy food, watched a lot of football and had good quality family time.  Here are a few pictures from our weekend.
Parker and Daddy eating yummy food!
Clint and his normal spot on Thanksgiving
Mom and Uncle Ricky finishing up the dishes before dinner time
We all fit around ONE table this year...kind of sad because that meant we were missing a lot of family :(
 My Bubba being sweet
Parker throwing his temper tantrum because I took Nana's cane away from him
Now he's a happy boy.

17 Weeks!

First of all, I realize I have been a bad Mama!  I haven't blogged about Baby #2 nearly as much as I did with Parker.  We have been so busy lately and trying to soak up every moment with Parker I feel like this pregnancy has already gone by fast!  After the holidays I only have 3 1/2 months left!!! Can you believe it?  It's funny how this time around is already so different yet so similar too.  I have been trying to drag out wearing "normal" clothes as long as I can this time.  Last time I couldn't WAIT to wear maternity clothes!  Looking at these two pictures I think I look very similar in size.  Would you agree?

The last doctor's appointment was around 12 weeks.  I went back and looked at my pregnancy journal with Parker and guess what...the heartbeat was the EXACT same, 155!  Does this mean we have another boy joining us?  Only God and the sonographer will know until his/her birthday!  We cannot wait to meet our second child.  He or she is going to add so much to our family and be Parker's best friend.  We are so excited for Parker to have a sibling so close in age.

Here is Parker in his prime position...wanting his Mommy to hold him.  He is at that age to where if he remotely gets the vibe I am leaving he freaks out.  He is defiantly a Mama's boy right now.  Matt tells me to soak it up because when he gets older I am sure he and his Daddy will be best buds!

I just got back from my 17 week doctors appointment and heard my precious baby's heartbeat.  It was between 145-147.  He said everything looked great and he/she was growing right on schedule.  My next appointment is December 20th and we will be able to see our precious little one at that appointment...can't wait!!
