Our 13 month old!

I know I have been a terrible blogger lately...we have been very busy! Last weekend was our first weekend to actually be home in about a month. We have spent a lot of time out at the lake on the weekends and loving every minute of it! Also between my full time job and now my Mary Kay job I stay pretty busy. My time at night is very precious and I want to spend every minute I can with my boys. Pictures to come after this weekend at the lake...I am sure we will take tons! I just wanted to update everyone on what Parker is up to these days :)

-He is officially WALKING everywhere!! He thinks he is such the big boy and doesn't want to be held...he is always on the go!

-Jabbers a lot but his few words are: Dog, Bubba, Mamma and Dada. Matt also taught him to say "aahhh" after he takes a drink...it's pretty cute! Of course he has a few made up words and we just go with it and play along.

-Points to everything and says "Dat" meaning..."what's that? He for some reason likes to do it right when he wakes up...like his room changed overnight or something ;)

-Like to play hide and seek with his milk or snack. After he hides it from himself he will come crying to me like I took it...silly guy!

-His GiGi taught him to point to our nose when we ask him where it is.

-Still a pretty good eater...but if he doesn't like something there is no forcing him to eat it! Favorites right now are: chicken nuggets, blueberries, watermelon and peas.

-Still is in LOVE with Elmo! He likes to put his head on Elmo and then wait for us to say "Aww sweet Parker". He thinks it's a game. :)

-Every chance he gets to throw something off a table...he will do it. I have to be fast to catch him!

-He weighs 22 lbs (50%) and is 31 inches long (90%)

-Is becoming more cuddly at night before bed. I love rocking him even if it's for a few short minutes.

Our little guy is now a toddler and we love seeing his personality develop. Each day he learns something new and it just amazes me how much he soaks in. We have had a fun summer so far and we still have fun times ahead. This weekend we are going swimming with Parker for the first time in a big pool. Pictures will be posted later to show how he did...

Happy 4th Everyone! Be safe!

Water Fun!

I took a few days off to hang out with Parker after I returned from a Great weekend with my college friends! I have been wanting to get out all his water toys since summer began! Finally I had the chance and he had a blast!

Here he is with his new water table. He loves making splashes!

Now pool time! It took me forever to blow all the pieces up and then when he got in he hated it...probably because the water was a little cold. After awhile and after I got in with him he warmed up to the idea!

Here he is throwing his fit...

Overall, we had a great two days together. Parker got to play with his cousins on Monday and then we had Mommy/Son time on Tuesday. Wish this could happen every week!! :(

Lately...

...we have been very busy!! Parker is with Daddy more often now that I have started my Mary Kay business. As you can see below they have a good time together!

Parker is taking a few steps on his own now. He weighs 22 lbs and is 31 inches long. He is a little toddler not my newborn anymore :(. I was rocking him the other night remembering how small he used to be and it makes me sad how fast time goes by. Although, we are having so much fun with him at this stage. He plays so well with his toys, loves the dogs and is a very good eater. Every once in awhile reveals his temper. I am afraid disciplining is just around the corner. I also have a feeling he will be running around here in just a few short days instead of crawl ling. I will try to catch a video and post it on here as it happens.
As for now we just take one day at a time and hope that our schedule will slow down a little this summer. We have a lot of fun trips planned and look forward to many days outside!

After Graduation Party

After graduation my parents had family and friends over to celebrate Clint's big day. We had the most delicious ribs cooked by my Uncle Vernon. Clint's one request for graduating was for him to cook these ribs. I think he ate a whole rack! :) We had a good time just hanging out and chasing Parker in the backyard!

Parker was practicing walking practically the whole night!

Me and my sweet Nana!

Uncle Ricky doing his famous "throw". He used to do this to us all the time growing up. We loved it and apparently so did Parker!

Taking his first bite...wait his first bite was in the picture behind him when he was 13 months old! Still loves them 17 years later!

Parker kept trying to steal Clint's show. He was walking everywhere in the living room and then wanted to get into Clint's cash. Oops!

We love you Clint!

My Little Brother Graduates!

On Saturday, my little brother, Clint graduated high school. I am so proud of him for all his accomplishments. He will be going off to Kilgore Junior College in August to be the kicker for the football team. I can't believe he is going to college...it seems like yesterday he was sitting in front of the TV eating ham rolled up, pickles and chips (his favorite meal as a kid). I am going to miss him being around...and so will Parker! Good luck Bro!

Go Clint!

He loves his new car...we often find stuffed animals in it. I guess he likes taking them for a ride too!

Memorial Day Lake Weekend!

Memorial Day weekend was filled with fun at Cedar Creek Lake. We relaxed, played volleyball, Frisbee and soccer. It was nice to get away from the craziness of everyday life and be with family. We took a lot of pictures so I had to pick my favorites! Parker absolutely loved being outside and playing with his cousins. We can't wait to go back this summer.
