We have a customer at the bank who is the Downtown Fort Worth Santa. He agreed to come to the bank for our kids to sit on Santa's lap! He was so good with the kids!! Parker LOVED Santa, but Callan and Ethan were scared of him. I am sure next year will be a different story for Mr. P. Here we are with all of our kids!

Relaxing weekend...
This past weekend we were supposed to go to my in-laws lake house for an after Thanksgiving get together. Well Matt needed to finish a project he was working on so we decided to stay home at the last minute. Sometimes those weekends end up being the best when you don't have any plans!! We did a little shopping for our upcoming ski trip, watched movies and just played at the house. Parker and I loved just being lazy!

Parker's 1st Thanksgiving!!
Parker had his 1st Thanksgiving this year! We went to Nana's to have Thanksgiving lunch/dinner and watch the Cowboys game! We stayed all day this year instead of splitting time between my family and Matt's family. Since we are going away for Christmas skiing with the Ferrell's we decided to have Thanksgiving with my family all day. It was very relaxing and fun! As always the food was excellent!!

6 Months Old!!!
It seemed like yesterday I was checking into the hospital to have my little man...now he is 6 months old!! He has truly been the best thing that has ever happened to me and Matt. He just lights up our life everyday with that smile of his. We thank God everyday for the precious gift he has given us. I know for sure we are truly blessed because he is such a good baby. He rarely cries, just fusses every now and then, sleeps very well and is a good eater! I have a feeling when we have our next child it won't be this easy!!

He is now eating squash, carrots, zucchini, sweet potatoes, pears, applesauce and bananas. I am proud to say I have been able to make all of his baby food so far. It is so easy with a Cuisinart! Every Sunday I load up the freezer with new food for the week. If any of you are interested in doing this I have a great book to recommend to help get you started.
Monday was Parker's 6 month check-up. He weighs 18.11 and is 27 1/2 inches long. For both height and weight he is in the 75Th percentile. The doctor said he was doing great. The one thing he definitely needs work on is his tummy time. He hates it so much it is hard to make him do it! So this week he will be on his tummy a lot more to try and get him to rollover. My Mom said he rolled over twice for her but I am not counting it because I didn't see it!! ;)
Christmas Spirit!
This past Saturday Parker and I spent the day at my Mom's helping her put up the Christmas tree and decorations. This year's Christmas will be a little different for us because we are going to Colorado Christmas morning to go skiing with the Ferrell's. I decided since we will be gone I didn't want to go all out with decorations in our house and then have to come home and pack it all up. So to help us get in the Christmas spirit we helped GiGi! ;) It was a fun day...we organized her decorations, put the tree up and listened to Christmas music while we worked. Parker was so good too. He just played in his jumper while we worked and took 2 long naps. When he woke up I wanted to show him the tree and lights...he loved it! Here are a few pictures from our fun
day at GiGi's!

Parker all wrapped up in the garland! He just wanted to eat it!

All Dressed Up!
Matt and I got to go on a "fancy" date Saturday night. We went to the Margarita Charity Ball at the Fort Worth Convention center with some friends from work. I got to get my hair done, a pedicure, put a fancy dress on and go on a date with my hubby! Before the ball we went to a seafood restaurant called Eddie V's...it was yummy!! Here we are all dressed up!
