6 Months Old!!!

It seemed like yesterday I was checking into the hospital to have my little man...now he is 6 months old!! He has truly been the best thing that has ever happened to me and Matt. He just lights up our life everyday with that smile of his. We thank God everyday for the precious gift he has given us. I know for sure we are truly blessed because he is such a good baby. He rarely cries, just fusses every now and then, sleeps very well and is a good eater! I have a feeling when we have our next child it won't be this easy!!

He is now eating squash, carrots, zucchini, sweet potatoes, pears, applesauce and bananas. I am proud to say I have been able to make all of his baby food so far. It is so easy with a Cuisinart! Every Sunday I load up the freezer with new food for the week. If any of you are interested in doing this I have a great book to recommend to help get you started.

Monday was Parker's 6 month check-up. He weighs 18.11 and is 27 1/2 inches long. For both height and weight he is in the 75Th percentile. The doctor said he was doing great. The one thing he definitely needs work on is his tummy time. He hates it so much it is hard to make him do it! So this week he will be on his tummy a lot more to try and get him to rollover. My Mom said he rolled over twice for her but I am not counting it because I didn't see it!! ;)

The past 6 months have been so much fun and I know the next 6 months will be even better. It seems like each day he is doing something new. Enjoy the monthly "chair" photos from his 6 month birthday!

Just to see how much he has grown and changed...

Christmas Spirit!

This past Saturday Parker and I spent the day at my Mom's helping her put up the Christmas tree and decorations. This year's Christmas will be a little different for us because we are going to Colorado Christmas morning to go skiing with the Ferrell's. I decided since we will be gone I didn't want to go all out with decorations in our house and then have to come home and pack it all up. So to help us get in the Christmas spirit we helped GiGi! ;) It was a fun day...we organized her decorations, put the tree up and listened to Christmas music while we worked. Parker was so good too. He just played in his jumper while we worked and took 2 long naps. When he woke up I wanted to show him the tree and lights...he loved it! Here are a few pictures from our fun
day at GiGi's!

Parker all wrapped up in the garland! He just wanted to eat it!

Ho! Ho! Ho! My little Santa!

I love my Mommy

Wow look what I can get into Mom! ;)

All Dressed Up!

Matt and I got to go on a "fancy" date Saturday night. We went to the Margarita Charity Ball at the Fort Worth Convention center with some friends from work. I got to get my hair done, a pedicure, put a fancy dress on and go on a date with my hubby! Before the ball we went to a seafood restaurant called Eddie V's...it was yummy!! Here we are all dressed up!

Parker stayed with his GiGi for the night so that Mom and Dad could go out and have some fun! He did so good...slept the longest he has ever slept in one night...12 hours!! He always has fun at his GiGi's house. ;) He says "Bye Mom and Dad"!

I love my feet!

Happy Halloween!

Every Halloween we go over to The Ferrell's to trick or treat with our nieces and nephews. We also dress up the beagles and take them with us! ;) Parker had so much fun with his cousins. Dian cooked us a delicious dinner and then we dressed up the kids and went around their neighborhood. It was a fun night!

Kenzie and Sloane as "Minnie Mouse", Parker as "Cat in the Hat", and Trevor as "Buddy the Elf"

I can't wait for next year when Parker can actually participate going up to houses to get candy!

Around the House

We haven't been doing a whole lot these past few weeks except hanging around the house. We are just enjoying our little guy! Here are a few pictures of Mr. P around the house.

Parker still hates tummy time and Rolo was trying to help him out ;)

Hello there...see I can push up!

How he likes to fall asleep everynight! I have to go in and take the covers off after he falls asleep or he will keep putting them over his face!

Early one morning getting ready to go to Grandmother's house.
