Parker at 31 months!

Parker has been having night terrors which began on Thanksgiving night.  They usually start about an hour and a half after he is asleep and last for about 10 minutes.  He looks awake, talks and sometimes gets out of bed but he is NOT awake.  He kicks, screams and there is no way to console him.  It is very hard to watch him because they say not to wake them up.  He doesn't remember any of it by morning.  After he is done with the terror he goes right to sleep like nothing happened.

He is very defiant some days...we can tell him to do something or not to do something and he will just flat out say no or run.  I feel like the child gets at least one to two maybe more spankings a day.  Whining is the biggest thing we are trying to stop.  When he doesnt' get his way he just whines.  Sometimes he even takes his frustrations out on Pierce.  He will say "Pierce look at you" when he doesn't want his brother to see.

He is saying new words everyday!  The other day he said "apologize"...I about flipped out of my chair!  He loves tractors and school buses.  He loves to play rough with his Daddy.
Almost everyday he says "I don't feel good...I need medicine on it"!
When he has to go potty he says "I go BIG one!" :)
When he wants to be held he yells "Up" "Up"!

He absolutely loves school!  Ms. Katie is his teacher and she is just wonderful!  Ms. Susan is also his favorite who is the assistant director.  His favorite friend is Bryce and Audrey.  Alex is the little guy he always pushes and in turn gets himself into trouble.

He loves to do things by himself!  "I do it" he says.  Brushes his teeth, pulls down his pants to go potty, turns on his "maker" )noisemaker), I could go on and on.

To my big boy:  Mommy and Daddy love you so much and wouldn't trade these trying 2's for anything.  You are so smart and we are so proud of you everyday!  You are getting so big and trying to be independent as much as you can.  We love you for who you are even if you have little quirks.  I will always remember how you have to have your closet light on, the gate up and your maker on...your 3 blankets that you always carry around the house, along with your pillow.  You bite every corner to show your blankets love.

Each day that you wake up you have to run in the living room and turn the Christmas tree on...

You are the light of our lives and we just love you so much!  Please don't grow up so quick!!
